Inna has 10 years of practical experience in the field of registration and protection of intellectual property objects and specializes in legal support of the process of registration, protection, acquisition, transfer of copyright, TM and industrial designs.
Inna provided consultations on issues of registration and protection of intellectual property objects for foreign and national companies, including:
- British manufacturer of household chemicals, devices and devices for use in cosmetology and everyday life, medical and pharmaceutical products;
- a French corporation, the owner of a chain of hotels all over the world and in Ukraine;
- an American manufacturer of children’s toys;
- an American manufacturer of perfumes and cosmetics;
- an Italian wine company;
- Ukrainian design and architectural studio specializing in the production and design of furniture, interior, and household items.
Representative projects of Inna Halaka:
- full support of the trademark registration procedure before Ukrpatent and the Patent Office of the USA, Canada, Turkey, and the EU;
- entry of TM into the Customs Register of IP objects in Ukraine in order to control and prevent the importation of counterfeit and counterfeit products into Ukraine;
- analysis and creation of documents for registration of transfer of rights and license agreements;
- blocking of counterfeit products and photos on the platform of ALIBABA, ALIEXPRESS, preparation and support of disputes in the courts of Ukraine;
- preparation and support of administrative cases for the transfer of domain names according to the WIPO UDRP procedure.
- provision of consultations of any complexity on the registration of intellectual property objects, assessment of the risks of using TM without registration;
- preparation of claims to be sent to violators in order to stop violations of TM and copyright.
Inna received her higher legal education at the National University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, graduating in 2015.
After several years in legal practice, Inna received a certificate to practice law.
To improve her qualifications as a lawyer, Inna studied at the Summer WIPO school on Intellectual property, from the World Intellectual Property Organization, Switzerland, Geneva in 2012.
