🌍 Poland, Turkey or Georgia: where Ukrainian entrepreneurs are moving to and why

🇵🇱 Poland is the most popular jurisdiction among Ukrainians: it offers a moderate tax burden and reasonable rates for micro and small businesses. Already, 6 per cent of newly established businesses in Poland are Ukrainian.

🇹🇷 Turkey has announced and has already passed a law granting tax residents a 20-year exemption from taxation on any worldwide income. An interesting option for those considering a change of jurisdiction.

🇪🇸 Spain, on the other hand, is ‘catching up’ with new rules: it intends to tax the worldwide income of its tax residents regardless of citizenship.

🇬🇪🇦🇱 Georgia and Albania also do not tax worldwide income and offer a 1 per cent tax on turnover up to a certain amount – a more attractive option than Ukraine’s 6.5 per cent plus 1 per cent military levy for sole traders. However, unlike Georgia, Albania taxes worldwide income in full.
