Svetlana decided on her future profession while still at school: from the 7th grade she started attending tutoring classes to study law. Obsession with the desire to become a professional lawyer took its toll: at the age of 14, Svitlana entered the Kyiv Financial and Economic College.

Svitlana began her career in jurisprudence as a social inspector of the Department of Social Protection of the Population.

Svitlana received her higher education at the State Fiscal Service University of Ukraine. During her studies, she was a legal assistant in two different law firms in the city of Kyiv, and after receiving a full higher education, she became a leading lawyer in two companies with an average annual turnover of over UAH 150 million.

At the age of 22, Svitlana independently supervised an investment construction project worth 110 million hryvnias.

Svitlana has 14 years of experience in legal support and representation of the interests of small and medium-sized companies. This experience enabled Svitlana Moroz to found her own law firm Dictum in 2016.

Svitlana specializes in various areas of law: tax, customs, investment, intellectual property, as well as building a strategy for the protection and advocacy of clients’ interests in economic crimes.

For 9 years of practice in the field of taxation, both as a corporate lawyer and in consulting, Svitlana Moroz successfully resolved a significant number of tax issues for the benefit of clients:

• consulting the company’s financial department on tax issues
• adaptation of the enterprise system to the new tax legislation
• comprehensive support of tax audits
• appeal and return of confiscated documents by law eforcement agencies within the framework of criminal proceedings for tax offenses
• contesting the results of tax audits in the DPS and in court

Svitlana received an academic degree of candidate of legal sciences in the field of taxation on the topic “Administrative and legal principles of activity of the legal work units of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine” and, thanks to 5 years of academic work, additionally strengthened her own tax expertise.
